Volunteer Opportunities:
The Idaho Jazz Society is always looking for people to help with specific things from time-to-time. These may be to assist with mailings, communications, technical assistance, helping with local jazz festivals, etc. If you have a special skill or talent, or would like to help in any way, please contact our president, Patrick Kurdy, by email at ptkurdy@cableone.net or by phone at 208.336.4447. Webmaster needs Help!: I would like to train someone as a backup to manage this website, in case I'm not always available, with the idea of taking it over eventually. You need basic computer skills. Advanced knowledge of HTML would be added plus in case we want to move on to higher levels of sophistication. Sun Valley Jazz Jamboree Volunteers Wanted: The annual Sun Valley festival (held mid-October each year) is always looking for new volunteers. Folks can help in areas of communication, badge checking at venues, registration, driving vehicles, etc. Those who volunteer for 12 hours of service receive a complimentary all-events badge good for all five days of the festival.
